Vice President's Message
Get
out there and run, no matter how fast or slow, every mile counts, toward the
goal of better living and faster running.
No more excuses: it's too hot, it’s too cold, it’s raining, I am tired, I have too much to do. I have used all these
excuses and more. And I have run with
all these conditions and all kinds of pain. So go out there and get a couple of
miles in. I run mostly at night because
I work so much, after 8pm, but there are a lot of advantages to this. It is a lot quieter, less traffic, you can go
whatever pace you want because no one can see you. Get out there and have fun running; it doesn’t
matter if you do 1 or 10 miles, just have fun with it. On your worst days it can
relieve tension and frustration from all the day's work. Sometimes you need to run alone and be in
your own little world with no one bothering you. Now go out there and break some personal
records.
