Race Timing

  1. Otter’s 5k July 28 – Volunteers still needed and race details were discussed. The winner of the race  will throw out the first pitch before the ballgame.
  2. Computer races coming up are the Bob’s Gym 5k August 25 and the Ellis Park 5k October 20.

  1. Updates include: May minutes, Summer Track results, membership roster, race calendar, newsletter, President’s page, Grand Prix results, “Spotlight” on Becky Kiesel, scholarship page with pictures, and 2006 scholarship winners have been archived.

Picnic

  1. Action was tabled from previous meetings. Motion made and carried to cancel the 2007 picnic. No one was willing to be the director this year. Some other club gathering may be considered at a later date.

 Summer Track Program

  1. July 12th is the third meet and July 26th is the fourth meet.

 Special Events

  1. Next Pub Run is July 18th at Nick’s on First Avenue

 Grand Prix

  1. Per action at the June meeting, a mailing has gone out to Grand prix participants that are not club members and will include a club brochure, Grand Prix description and current standings, and a flyer from Swift Athletics. Many have responded.

 New Business

  1. Aztec Printing was selected to print 200 newly designed club brochures. A motion was made and carried after some discussion to purchase 500 more brochures for future events and mail outs.

 Being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 6:45 pm
