Committee reports
Race Timing:
1. Spring Scurry 5k April 14. Gordon will help planning with the race director.
2. St Pat 7k (new event replacing former 5k) is having planning meetings and suggested that GERWC take part.

Banquet:
1. Bill Hussmann will be the director and Bob Head will handle drinks. After discussion, it was decided to use DeLiggee’s as caterer @ $10.00 per person and planning for 100 people.
Events Calendar: no report
Race Management:
1. The New Eve race went well both the 4k relay and open runs. All volunteers will get a shirt.
Membership:
1. Several new members and renewals.
Newsletter:
1. Chad will be adding pictures and graphics.
2. Articles for the next issue should be in by mid February or so.
3. Discussed a link to the newsletter for members only.
Picnic: no report
Step Up Club:
1. Christ the King and Delaware schools have new clubs.
2. The Toyota Spring Day 8k will be May 5, 2007
3. Welborn has sited GERWC as one of the areas best promoters of healthy lifestyles. They have grants available and many feel we should pursue one. Gordon, Ced, and Tom will help move this project forward.
Scholarship:
1. No updates. Info to go out this spring.
New Business:
1. GERWC Open House-Dates are January 16 and 23 at Bob’s Gym west and north. Volunteers are needed. Details were discussed.
2. Timing Equipment-Chad Hartman has found a new timing machine we may be able to use. If it works the consensus was to reimburse him up to $100.00 for the purchase.
3. GERWC clothing-tabled 
4. Discussed a club promo budget and giveaways. GERWC water bottles and other items were discussed to promote the club. 
5. It was suggested that the club have a director to co-ordinate an up to date list of volunteers. Bob Head has a list of people and may be willing to do this job,

It was noted that Ray Pritchett had gall bladder surgery and is doing fine.
Banquet matters were discussed and votes taken for Volunteer of the Year and Ray Rayl awards.

Being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 pm,
