Correspondence
- Thank you note from Don
Walter for helping UE with their cross country team.
Race Timing
-Gordon stated that any
requests for the club to time an event should be forwarded to him before
any decision is made.
- Next timed event is the
Mt Vernon 5k June 10 (card system to be used).
-Discussion concerning race
timing problems last two races including missing times and times not in
sync with finishers. Gordon suggests we have a problem with the entire
finish line system and would like to see us create a paid position of Finish
Line Manager and he be paid $.50 per finisher and would handle all assignments.
We would raise our fee to $2.25 per finisher. A motion was made to raise
our fee to $2.25 per finisher. Carried by a majority vote. Gordon suggested
Bob Head be hired to be the manager. A motion was made and carried by unanimous
vote to hire Bob Head. He will be paid $.50 per finisher and his renewal
as manager would be reviewed yearly.
-It was suggested that before
we bill Toyota for the 8k event Tom Anderson will discuss timing errors
we had that day with them and bill them later.

listing new members.
