           Re: Present items and clothing the club could use for promotions

Minutes of the November 2006 meeting were approved as presented with one correction.
Financial report for November 2006 was approved as presented.

New Years Eve race assignments were discussed and we are ready to go.

The Board discussed various club promo items. There was a motion carried to buy at least 300 coffee mugs with the club logo to be ready by the banquet. Action on club clothing was tabled until the January 2007 meeting.

Correspondence:
1. Mail from Dawn Dickie who would like to volunteer and possibly become a Board member. Cat Sanders will join the Board and Larry Paul has resigned effective immediately. 

Race Timing:
1. The New Years Eve race is ready to go. The Thanksgiving and Jingle Bell races went well.

Banquet:
1. Bill Hussmann will be the director. Awards will go to best male and female teams, male and female individuals and meals will be provided for the coach and winning athletes. Bill will get quotes for meal catering. Board members are to e mail their choices for club member awards in all categories

Race Timing:
1. The last two races went very well.

Membership:
1. There will club promo nights at Bob’s Gym January 16 2007 (west location) and January 23 2007 (north location). Volunteers are needed and should contact Becky Kiesel.

Newsletter:
1. Next one goes out January 1, 2007

Step Up Club:
1. There are four active clubs in the Evansville area. A 500 mile award was given recently. It was suggested we research working with other groups to promote healthy lifestyles and apply for grant money.

Scholarship:
1. Info for 2007 awards has gone out.

New business:
1. It was noted we may need to replace the Sprint 8 time machines soon.
