Financial report for November 2005 was read and approved

Correspondence: Jerry Walker resigns as race calendar director effective today.

Race Timing 
-Thanksgiving Day race results were finished 30 minutes after last finisher. There were problems with the chute being too short. It was agreed if we time next year the chute will be ½ block longer.

-Jingle Bell 5k- Results were incorrect. It was the consensus of the board that in the future, Nick proof read all results, stay until they are read, and confer with Chad Hartmann on details of using the software.

-Received requests to time St Patrick Day 5k and Morganfield 5k. Both tabled until the January meeting. 

-No action on replacing the lap top computer

Banquet 
 Details of the banquet were discussed. It was agreed Anne Audain will be the guest speaker and all costs associated with the banquet are approved. The format will as in past years. 

Membership
Angela hopes to have membership incentives in place by mid summer. They may include t-shirts and utilizing the web site.

Step Up Club
Carol reports Plaza School using step meters for distance. Fundraising now ongoing and need all to help. Toyota is requesting GERWC time the May 6 event this year.

New Business

The board agrees to allow Tri State Runner to post race results of races we time.

Jerry Seddon has suggested the board consider more compensation for Chad Hartmann now that the club will be adding a newsletter to the web site. Tabled until January.

There was no new business from the floor.

Don Nichols stated the club has no President, Vice President, and Recording Secretary. Gordon Benfield has expressed interest in returning as club president. After discussion the board agreed to invite Gordon to address the board at the January 2006 meeting.

Being no further business the meting was adjourned.
