chairs have been set up now. They are looking towards Old National as the

the entry fee. As some do not go to this. But entry fee was not decided

NewBusiness:
1. Club Spending: There has been club spending without the boards consent.
Now
it was voted on to change the policy. Less than $50 submits your proposal
to Gordon, whether by email or phone. And he will either approve or take
it to the board. Over $50 has to come directly to the board for approval.
We will talk on how the Step- Up will do their spending. As this goes through
the treasurer also.
2. Ray Rayl Memorial race: Proceeds will go the Scholarship fund. We
will try to get this race affiliated with and Otters Game. And try to get
free tickets to the game on the same night. We will be using donated trophies.
But please wait until further notice on donating. This race has a possibility
of next year.
3. Club Brochure: This is still being worked on.
4. RRCA Membership: There were questions on RRCA insurance. Theirs
is higher than what the club pays for. So Gordon is checking will this.
He will see if our insurance meets their requirements.
5. Race timing Travel: Please try to carpool! This will cut cost of
mileage be submitted.
6. Shirts for Board: It will say GERWC and your name under this. Ced
will check on prices of polo’s. We are currently looking for one retailer
who does shirts and magnets and stuff. The club talked about taking bids
from companies, who specialize in this type of business. Will discuss
next meeting.
Other: It was voted on that we would time the River Run only,
and not help with sponsorship.
Next meeting is after the picnic. Aug 14th
