Newsletter: Need Thanksgiving photo's. Will have to the printers
by end of the week. Jerry Sedden will be taking this over in January. (Or

Race Timing/Web: We really needed 2 Shutes for Thanksgiving
Day race. Had 595 finishers for that race. Jingle Bell had 312. Results
posted for both races. Web: Updated Joshua Acad. Flyer. Ynot2K is
updated again. All computer and timing supplies were turned over to the
appropriate persons. Gordon is discussing in going in partners with the
YMCA on timing. He is trying to find a web person. Has contacted all the
colleges. We will not be timing the River Run next year. We have discussed
charging a minimum fee to all small races (directors) this was voted agreeable
by the board. We will have to have a fixed rate on the web page; some months
it is 5-10 hours weekly. Some months nothing (just updating monthly minutes)
we can sell our mailing list for $50.
Banquet: Caterer needs to know 1 week in advance on how many
will attend. But will bake accordingly to handle more walk in's. Rob will
pick up the $50 gift certificate to Haub's.
Will start on local donations at the beginning of January. When we
have the renewal and membership table, on any new members that sign up,
we will take off $2.
Walkers: Need walker's bio. At the Christmas party about 17
showed up.
Membership: Janet will take this over in January. Will work
with Rob for a small amount of time then will take over completely.
Step-Up Club: One of Craig's kid's won the 13 and under in
the Jingle Bell. Rob will get some of the volunteers for the Toyota race.
Greg Riffle will be in charge of getting in touch with the EVSC. Bill Huss
will get in touch with the paper. The Toyota race will be on April 5th
at 8 or 9 am. Free entry and t-shirt. Plus food afterwards. GERWC will
handle race management and timing and results.
Scholarship: No new info on this.
Old Business:
-
Art's Council 1/2: No one sponsored this for $20,000. So will have to
try another route. The club will do the timing, but will need about 100
or more volunteers.
-
Ynot2K: Had a brief meeting about this. It was also listed in the Dec
23rd paper. Got parade permit, Will get 9 police officers. And
will need another 7 volunteers. No t-shirts. Will get a print instead.
-
Awards for Banquet: High School awards are done. A separate mailing
will go out for the dinner and nominations. These will need to be in ASAP.
-
Ray Rayl award: We had one nomination. And one nomination for the volunteer
award. This will be voted on at the next meeting.
-
Officers: Elected Annually. But no limit on the board of directors.
No limit on secretary and treasurer either. All officers were reelected,
by Board of Directors. They will be announced at the banquet.
-
REACT: Is in need of new equipment. Since they help on volunteering
so much it was voted to donate a cash donation. We will invite one individual
from this team, and donate $300. This was voted on.
Other: Next meeting will be January 8th. And we will set
up a banquet meeting at this time.
